Beautifully textured Ceramic Sculpture of a Hawk by Andersen Studio of Maine

The ceramic hawk is majestic and magical with a centered and alert presense.

The stoneware hawk stands firmly centered and ready to react. From within that perfectly balanced posture riveting eyes scan the horizon. As the head turns, the body remains as still as a rock while the hawk’s claws clutch the pedastle with a firm and visible strength.

The hawk’s head is brushed in sandy brown ceramic decorating slip and dappled with spots of matte white glaze which become more pronounced as they travel down the stoneware bird’s carved and feathered back.

The ceramic Falcon is 7 inches tall and is all handcrafted by American artisans on the coast of Maine.
