In the artfully abstracted Doe with Fawn figure by Elise Andersen. The forms of the mother and child merge togeather expressing the natural bond. The stoneware deer is decorated with the Andersen’s natural brown ceramic decorating slip before being dipped in their matte white glaze The Doe’s eyes are painted with a glossy ebony glaze, giving them a life like quality against the sandy brown of the Deer’s coat. The ceramic Doe with Fawn is six inces long..
