New 2002 work by Weston Neil Andersen. Weston developed this form over the course of two years during which he partially lost his vision to macular degeneration. He continued to work with his remaining vision and a sense of touch. The fish has a primitive and archetypal presence. This is a small production piece, slip cast and then assembled. The glaze is based on the loon glaze designed by Weston. The color is brushed by hand to give it a natural varied effect.
