A simple ceramic form captures the essence of the sparrow. Loose calligraphic brushwork suggest the feathered wings.

Spontaneous brushwork swoops over the stoneware sparrow’s back, becoming feathered wings and giving the small ceramic bird a unique individuality in each slip cast form. It is this humanistic touch that makes the work of Andersen Studio so appealing.
