Ceramic Baby Gull Sculpture                The Gentle Sandpiper, a stoneware bird sculpture in earthen beach tones by Andersen Studio of The United States                The stoneware fledgling robin sculpture is small but impressive with the fearless spirit of the bird species. The naturalistic ceramic sculpture was inspired by wounded fledgling robin that the Andersens found and nursed back to health. The fledgling robin stands proud and bold as though it believes itself to be invincible. The ebony glazed eyes seem to be attentively aware of every detail of the surrounding environment. The rounded and sloping form of the ceramic bird is perfectly finished with the Andersens brown ceramic decorating slip, brushed with a feathery pattern and then dipped in a soft white matte glaze that randomly picks up the variations in the underlying surface. The ceramic fledgling robin is 4 inches tall.

Ceramic Birds slipcast Stoneware Pelican sculpture                 The Andersen Studio Stoneware Nesting Pelican Sculpture is a sensuous form with carved wings cloaked in a soft gray ceramic glaze. The long dramatic beak is glazed in elegant ebony and golden yellow. The round eyes peer with alert attention and the soft brown. A matte golden brown ceramic glaze flows over the feathery tufts that stylishly accentuate the long neck. This stoneware bird is slip cast and handcrafted at the Andersens small production studio on the coast of Maine. The ceramic Pelican is 8 inches tall.

The Ceramic Floating Gull sits cool and calm. The clean geometric lines of the sculpture become a sublimely naturalistic representation of the unbiqutous shore bird. The Sea Gull turns its head and its hollowed out eyes seem to peer into the hidden dimensions of beingness. The Soft matte galze and the subtle gray against the contrasting ebony bands of the tail makes for a sleek and simple seagull sculpture from Andersen Studios ceramics birds collection. The hadcrafted bird is 11 inches long.         Stoneware Atlantic Puffin Sculpture designed and hand crafted by Andersen Stduio of Maine
