Andersen Design is the producer and wholesale agent for Andersen Studio. Andersen Design ceramic functional forms and wildlife sculpture has been sold in fine gift store, museum stores, department stores, nationally distributed catalogs, antique stores, and garden stores for over half a century. The Andersen Design line of collectible Ceramic art and design consisting of a contemporary line of simply stated functional forms and authentic mid-century design as well as our wild life collection including ceramic bird sculpture, ceramic animal sculpture and ceramic marine life sculpture. We also have a collection of human form sculpture.
Our Designs are original creations. We start by modeling the form and we then make a mold. Our original slip recipe is made from raw materials from the earth in the United States to create our unique Andersen ceramic stoneware body. Maine artisans finish the pieces by hand, which are decorated and glazed in our original ceramic decorating colors and glazes, also made from raw materials and our original recipes.
Our popular and collected line of uniquely American ceramic art and design has retained it's market appeal for over half a century. A true classic.
